E3 2017 Prediction Results

I Could have done better…

Almost a week has passed now since Nintendo held the final press conference of E3 2017, and in doing so, brought to a close the formal briefing section of the event. Whilst ending one aspect, however, Nintendo are also the ones who are lucky enough to shepherd in the latter, show-floor centric half of E3 where people are able to go hands-on with games we may not get to play for some time. But before we move onto that, it’s time to tally up the points from our predictions this year…

Sony, E3 2017 Predictions

Conference Time – BST: 2am (Tuesday Morning) | PT: 6pm

As we move onto the penultimate press conference of E3, we await Sony to take to the stage to unveil what they have planned next for the Playstation brand. Sony’s mantra over the past few E3’s has been ‘games, games, games’ and I don’t suspect that that will be changing anytime soon. Ubisoft, E3 2017 Predictions

Conference Time – BST: 9pm | PT: 1pm

Bethesda, E3 2017 Predictions

Conference Time – BST: 3am (Monday Morning) | PT : 9pm

Stepping up to the plate to bat next we have Bethesda, a company that up until two years ago, had never hosted an E3 press conference. Its no surprise then, that if you look back at how far Bethesda have come over the past 10 years, that they would absolutely be able to stand with the giant first and third party publishers of the contemporary.

Microsoft, E3 2017 Predictions

Conference Time – BST: 10pm | PT: 2pm

As we move onto the second press conference of E3 2017, we find ourselves waiting in anticipation for Microsoft to take to the stage and unveil the next step in the future of Xbox. This is undoubtedly a big year for all of the first parties, what with Nintendo unveiling wave two of games for the Switch and Sony pining to keep their lead on the other competitors; all involved are aiming to put their best foot forward. But perhaps more so than any other, this E3 is the most important for Microsoft, the company who, since the beginning of this generation, have desperately been playing catch up since the unveiling of the console back in 2013.
